Filling your space with items that remind you of your archetypes is one of the easiest ways you can connect with your goddess energy. I love to decorate my apartment with sea-themed art I've collected on my travels, like the painting of the Mediterranean I bought in Paris, the blown-glass conch shell I bought in Venice, and the photograph of Durdle Door Beach I bought while visiting England’s Jurassic Coast.

You can connect with your archetype through any item you want! Coasters, rugs, planners, journals, photographs, books, tarot cards, candles, yoga mats. Whatever holds meaning for you!

You can even connect with your archetype in the dishes you use. We eat multiple times a day, so this is a great opportunity to reinforce your archetype on a subconscious level, while you're rewarding your body and your brain.

I personally love to collect mugs from the places I visit as a way to connect with my Goddess of Travel archetype. I also own several mugs that remind me of the ocean (that I’ve bought from local artists—and some I’ve decorated myself!), so every morning when I have that first cup of coffee, I'm centering back into my Goddess of the Sea and Goddess of the Arts energy.

In fact, I have mugs that represent every archetype! When I want to embody Goddess of the Earth energy, I drink out of my hand-thrown Husky mug. When I want to channel Goddess of the Harvest energy, I drink out of a mug in the shape of a beehive. When I want to step into my Goddess of Magick archetype, I drink out of my witch mug. You get the idea!

It's such a simple thing to do, but it works because you’re reminding yourself of the energy you want to embody first thing in the morning, and you’re associating it with a reward for your brain (in my case, coffee!).

My friend Anna is a Goddess of Wisdom, a Goddess of Strength, and a Goddess of the Earth, and I absolutely love the way she’s decorated her home to reflect her goddess energy! Her space feels so serene and balanced, and every piece has been selected with intention, with thoughtful nods to her archetypes—from the books and plants to her décor and workout room. I particularly love the photo of her grandmother’s basketball team from the 1930s! Anna also plays on an all-women’s basketball team, and she told me that she loves to surround herself with reminders of ancestral female strength.

After completing the workshop and learning more about her archetypes, Anna decided to purchase a lapis lazuli crystal to help her channel her Goddess of Wisdom archetype while she’s working. Isn’t it beautiful?
