Because I'm a Sea Goddess and a Travel Goddess, every year I take a vacation to some kind of beach destination. This has become a non-negotiable for me, and I'm very grateful that I have the means to make it happen.

If a vacation is within your budget, I highly recommend going somewhere that supports your archetype. If funds are tight, look for local events or plan a staycation instead. Maybe you're a Harvest Goddess and you don't have the money to do a wine tour in Tuscany, but you could drive up to Napa or go out for a night of fine dining. Or maybe you're an Art Goddess and you don't have the ability to go to Paris, but you could go see a special exhibition in your city or attend a local film festival. If you're an Earth Goddess, go camping or spend the day hiking. If you're a Healing Goddess, go to a wellness retreat or give yourself a spa day at home. Do whatever you can to feed your soul and recharge in a way that aligns with your archetype.

Remember: Goddesses are the embodiment of joy and pleasure. If we're denying ourselves the things we truly desire, we are not in alignment with our authentic selves.

My sister, who is a Goddess of the Arts, a Goddess of Travel and Adventure, and a Goddess of the Sea, also loves traveling to the ocean. Below are some pictures she took on a recent solo trip to Cornwall, featuring the sea-themed nails she did herself!

Anna, who is a Goddess of Wisdom, a Goddess of Strength, and a Goddess of the Earth, recharges by doing physical activities in nature like hiking and kayaking and, of course, by reading! No matter where she goes, she always takes a book with her. While she was on vacation in the Canadian wilderness, she would read every morning by the lake in the chair pictured below.
